Despite this being an extremely off-putting striped shirt (I didn't know stripes could ever be off-putting), I was determined to reconstruct this and make it somewhat wearable.
After bringing the scissors to the shirt multiple times, four darts, excessive pinning, and modelling in front of my mirror (because it really does look different on), this is what I have on my mannequin:

Inspired by this Topshop tunic, although I don't think I am daring enough to wear the cut outs like that.
