Not being one to usually watch dramatic asian dramas with girl-meets-boy storylines, something about this trailer made me watch this movie. It's sad yet appealing, flirting with The Notebook-type genre, but falls more into the category of Blue Valentine (which is the most depressing but my favourite movie ever). So I guess it's not that odd that I wanted to watch it. Perhaps it was the foreign language and musical reference to The Beatles...

NY Weekend

I tend to think I only like photos/ taking photos of people, but I have some exceptions.

Typically, I'd say I want to live the busy gogogo city lifestyle because I'll be forever young, but I think eventually I would want to be one of those classy people who go wine tasting every weekend and walk through nature trails because it's "fun" and I have nothing else to worry about.

I don't wear makeup a lot but whenever I feel like being fabulous I put on my recently purchased Dior Black Tie lipstick- just to be extra dramatic (photos coming soon)

But really, these leggings are one of the best investments I've made since I bought them. And I'm sure everyone has oversized button-up shirts lying all around their house- I found this in my parent's closet (yay for not spending the big $$) & when I wear it I always feel all artsy and whatnot. Dissatisfied with your button-up shirts? Knot them.

On an exciting note, I'm going to Beijing next winter for exchange!!!!

Firsts...

First outfit of the day post: January 12, 2013

I have to say, last night was pretty eventful. Eventful to say the least! There's a reason why everyone tells you to live away from home during your university years...

But to the point: I am wearing a black velvet (I know you can't tell from the photo but it really is!) dress (meant to be a shirt but I personally think this looks better) from one of my favourite Canadian retailers, Joe Fresh. It was a crazy steal, which makes me love it even more. And the rest is history.
